Plane Milan to Barcelona
Photos from the 1 hour trip from Milan to Barcelona. The plane was quite empty as most people got off in Milan so I had a chance to move around and take some photos.

Fat Bike Tour
I done a tour with 3 others from where i am staying. we rode around for 4 hours on push bikes and ended at a cafe on the beach where i had 2 beers and then rode home. The gude was full of information, most of which i have now forgotten!

Sagrada Familia
The main icon of Barcelona, a catholic church still under construction 50 years after the death of its designer, Gaudi, and still with an estimated 100 years to go

Casa-museu
Large park area designed by Gaudi, I was told it was ment to be a planed community but the local people did not like his designs so it was never finished. It also contains his home with furniture

Barcelona - Day 3
3rd day in Barcelona, I walked to the old part of town and then hired a scooter. I went to the olympic area and a fort on the hill and later in the day went up to a lookout way up behind the city (and also went down a huge tunnel which i later found had a 3.50 Euro toll!
| |

Barcelona - Day 4
Last full day here. I went to the beach area and then took a cable car ride across to the hill near where the fort was and then went to a big aquarium later in the day before i returned the scooter. I have video footage of the aquarium as you could not use flash cameras there (But really flash High Def ones were fine)

Barcelona to Nice
Train trip. It took a lot longer then i expected but actually i dont know what the distance is between the 2 cities. I had a hard time getting photos out of the glass windows but some of the scenery was breathtaking. Things like wind farms on the hills and old towns built on steep cliffs beside the sea and then the train line running along the beach before nice

Nice & Monico
It seemed like every photo was a post card shot. The camera seemed to be capturing a lot of light so some photos are quite bright. I hired a scooter again here but the deposit was massive. I found one of the high roads and got some great shots looking down over the coast line.

Nice to Paris
Train ride from Nice to Paris. There were no 2nd class tickets left on the day i traveled so i had to settle for 1st class, dam shame. Problem was that i never had a seat so i had to move around. Just as we got to the last station i was told which seat i could keep. The TGV started on the regular line and then we hit the TGV line just before the last stop and then it was 300km/h for 2 hrs to Paris

Paris
I had 1 night in paris as a stop over between Nice and London. I just stayed near one of the train stations and had a quick walk around. I am going back to Paris later in the trip
| |

London
First 2 nights in London before the Contiki tour. I went for a walk around with no real aim or goals but stumbled across a few nice sights

London to Amsterdam
Bus ride through 4 countries. The start of the Contiki Tour

Amsterdam Canal Boat
A 90 min ride around in a boat weaving our way through some of the tight canels in Amsterdam and then out into the harbour for a look at an old war ship. Drinks were included and everyone took advantage of this

Amsterdam at Night
Off to a sex show and then some clubs to sample some of the goods available. Goods were nice, music was gay so it was not a massive night for me but still unforgettable none the less

Amsterdam on foot
A quick walk around town to check some sights before we got on the bus and headed to Germany
| |

Amsterdam to Rhine Valley
Motorways are nice in this part of the world but what a let down, the good old days of no speed limits on the German Autobahns are gone now with the EU setting a max speed limit of 130, still i was told its 130ish and if you have a good quality road worthy car you will get away with higher speeds

Rhine Valley
Home to some of the worlds best Wines, great scenery and a massive river full of boats towing coal and other goods

Rhine Valley to Munich
Another trip along the Autobahn's of Germany. There were some signes indicating no speed limit restrictions and cars were flying by at 160+ but I belive it still was a legal limit of 130

Munich
Munic, another german town rich in history and i am told they look down on the rest of germany as they think they are better.

Munich Beer Hall
I think the name says enough. A fun night with massive 1l beers
| |

Munich to Vienna
A nice drive into Austria. Let the toll roads begin with EToll sensors about ever 5km and a ETag much like ours that beeps every time you pass under the transponders

Austrian Concentration Camp
A very moving time. To think 200,000 people went in the gates and only 100,000 left through the gates. There was a massive quary where they had to haul huge stones up a steep set of stairs. I also got to see the room where they burnt the bodies

Vienna at night
I really needed more time to try and get nice shots of the buildings. Very nice lighting on many of the important landmarks

Vienna
Free time in Vienna to check out some sights

Vienna Dinner
Austraia is much like germany. We had snitzle and beer and were entertained by a 60 year old guy that thought he was 20 (So a 60 year old version of me? - Nah)
| |

Vienna to Venice
Out of Austraia and Into Italy. Very nice border crossing and road network here. If i get back on a bike its a must ride. The speed limit is 120 but plenty of the corners were 80km/h with massive bridges and tunnels. Makes the F3 north of Sydney look Lame
